Google Drive (via Zapier)

Save the full transcript of every TeamsMaestro meeting to Google Drive, with speaker names and timestamps. You get a searchable archive of what was said in every call, in a folder you control. It runs through the TeamsMaestro app for Zapier.

How it works

This template uses the Meeting Transcribed trigger, so it fires when TeamsMaestro finishes the transcript rather than the summary. The Zap creates a new file from the transcript text in the Drive and folder you choose.

You can save it as a plain text file, or turn on the option to convert it to a Google Doc. It suits calls where the exact wording matters, like interviews, customer research, or compliance reviews.

Pick which meetings run it. The trigger has optional filters for the meeting title (contains, starts with, or matches exactly) and for the host or participants. You can combine conditions and run the Zap when any of them is met.

Set it up
  1. Open the template and sign in to Zapier. Connect your TeamsMaestro account, which shows up in Zapier as AI TeamsMaestro.
  2. Keep Meeting Transcribed as the trigger, and add filters if you only want some meetings.
  3. Test the trigger. Zapier loads a recent transcribed meeting from your account so you can see the fields.
  4. Connect Google Drive. Set the file name, for example the meeting title and date, and map the transcript to the file content.
  5. Pick the Drive and folder, and choose whether to convert the file to a Google Doc.
  6. Run a test, open the file, and publish the Zap.

Only need the summary? The Google Docs template saves summaries and action items instead.

Frequently asked questions

Does the transcript include who said what?

Yes. The saved transcript includes speaker names and timestamps.

Can the transcript be a Google Doc instead of a text file?

Yes. The Zap has a convert-to-document option. Turn it on and each transcript is saved as a Google Doc.

Do I need a paid TeamsMaestro plan?

Yes. Zapier integrations are included on the Pro, Team, and Enterprise plans. They are not available on the Free plan.
