Google Docs (via Zapier)

Create a Google Doc for every TeamsMaestro meeting summary. Each document holds the meeting details, summary, and action items, ready to share with people who weren't on the call or to edit into a longer write-up. It runs through the TeamsMaestro app for Zapier.

How it works

When TeamsMaestro finishes summarizing a meeting, the Zap creates a new document from the meeting data. You set the document name and content in the Zap, and you can choose the Drive and folder it goes into.

A shared folder per project or per client works well. Everyone with access to the folder gets the notes, with no extra sharing step.

Pick which meetings run it. The trigger has optional filters for the meeting title (contains, starts with, or matches exactly) and for the host or participants. You can combine conditions and run the Zap when any of them is met.

Set it up
  1. Open the template and sign in to Zapier. Connect your TeamsMaestro account, which shows up in Zapier as AI TeamsMaestro.
  2. Keep Meeting Summarized as the trigger, and add filters if you only want some meetings.
  3. Test the trigger. Zapier loads a recent meeting from your account so you can see the fields: title, platform, start and end times, organizer, attendees, summary, and action items.
  4. Connect Google Docs. Set the document name, for example the meeting title and date, and map the summary and action items to the document content.
  5. Optionally pick the Drive and folder for the new documents.
  6. Run a test, open the document, and publish the Zap.

Want the full transcript instead of the summary? The Google Drive template saves transcripts instead.

Frequently asked questions

Can I choose which folder the documents go into?

Yes. The Zap has optional Drive and folder settings, so you can send each project's or client's notes to its own shared folder.

Does it save the transcript or the summary?

This template saves the summary, with the meeting details and action items. To save full transcripts, use the Google Drive template instead.

Do I need a paid TeamsMaestro plan?

Yes. Zapier integrations are included on the Pro, Team, and Enterprise plans. They are not available on the Free plan.
