Dropbox (via Zapier)

Save the full transcript of every TeamsMaestro meeting as a text file in Dropbox. Each line is timestamped and names the speaker, so you build a searchable archive of what was said. It runs through the TeamsMaestro app for Zapier.

How it works

This template uses the Meeting Transcribed trigger, which fires when TeamsMaestro finishes transcribing a meeting. The Zap then creates a text file in the Dropbox folder you choose, with the full transcript inside.

Use one folder per client, project, or team so transcripts sit next to the related files. You set the file name, choose whether a file with the same name gets overwritten, and can get a sharing link for each new file.

Pick which meetings run it. The trigger has optional filters for the meeting title (contains, starts with, or matches exactly) and for the host or participants. You can combine conditions and run the Zap when any of them is met.

Set it up
  1. Open the template and sign in to Zapier. Connect your TeamsMaestro account, which shows up in Zapier as AI TeamsMaestro.
  2. Keep Meeting Transcribed as the trigger, and add filters if you only want some meetings.
  3. Test the trigger. Zapier loads a recent meeting from your account so you can see the transcript and meeting fields.
  4. Connect Dropbox and choose the folder for new files.
  5. Set the file name, for example the meeting title and date, and map the transcript to the file content.
  6. Choose whether to overwrite a file with the same name and whether to include a sharing link.
  7. Run a test, check the file in Dropbox, and publish the Zap.

Frequently asked questions

Does it save the summary or the transcript?

The template saves the full transcript, with timestamps and the speaker named on each line. If you want the summary instead, switch the trigger to Meeting Summarized and map the summary to the file content.

Where in Dropbox are the files saved?

In the folder you choose when you set up the Zap. You can set up more than one Zap to send different meetings to different folders.

Do I need a paid TeamsMaestro plan?

Yes. Zapier integrations are included on the Pro, Team, and Enterprise plans. They are not available on the Free plan.
