Once your meeting list gets long, titles and dates stop helping. A customer call, an interview, and a product feedback session might all touch the same decision. Finding them means opening meetings one by one.
Tags fix that. In TeamsMaestro, you can group meeting notes by topic, customer, or workflow. Create your own tags, give each one a color, and filter your meeting list to find the right conversation fast.
Where tags show up
Tags appear right under the meeting title and next to each tagged meeting in your meeting list. You see the category before you open a summary.
You decide what each tag means. Client Call might group your customer conversations. Customer Support might hold the meetings where you worked through an issue. Since you pick the names and colors, they're easy to spot.

Create and apply a tag from a meeting
You can tag a meeting while its summary is open:
- Open a completed meeting in TeamsMaestro.
- Select Add tag beneath the meeting title.
- Search for an existing tag, or type a new tag name and select Create.
- Choose the tag you want to apply, then select Done.
The tag shows up on the meeting and in the meeting list. The meeting title stays the same.
Rename, recolor, or delete tags
Open Manage tags to keep things consistent as your list grows. From there you can rename a tag, change its color, or delete it from all your notes.

Color helps when the same categories come up every week. Use one color for client calls and another for support conversations, for example. Clear names matter just as much, especially when several people share the same meeting library.
Start with a few tags for work you already repeat. You can rename or recolor them later without redoing anything.
Filter your meeting list by tag
Tags pay off when you need to go back to a group of related conversations. Use the search field above the meeting list to search notes, people, or tags, then select the tag you want.
TeamsMaestro narrows the list to matching meetings. Filter by Client Call, and you'll see only the meetings with that tag.

It's a quick way to review a run of customer calls, catch up before a follow-up, or find every meeting tied to the same project.
To get started, open a completed meeting in TeamsMaestro and add your first tag.
