Getting Started with CalMaestro

How to set booking limits in CalMaestro

A productive day is not just about when meetings happen, but also about how many you take on. Booking limits in CalMaestro help you cap the number of meetings per day, giving you control over your schedule.

Once the daily maximum is reached, CalMaestro automatically blocks further bookings, even if your calendar shows open time slots. This ensures you avoid overload and protect time for focused work.

Why use booking limits

Meeting caps are a practical way to balance collaboration with productivity. They help you:

  • Prevent overbooking and burnout.
  • Reserve time for deep work, preparation, or follow-ups.
  • Keep your day structured and manageable.

With CalMaestro, you can set booking limits for each event so that your schedule works for you, not against you. Here are the steps on how to set a cap on the number of your daily meetings:

Step 1: Edit your event

Scroll to the bottom of the event settings. Look for the “Max Bookings Per Day” section. Select the maximum number of meetings you want for that event per day. Once the cap is reached, CalMaestro will block the day from additional bookings, even if free time remains.

Step 3: Save or update

  • For a new event, click “Save.”
  • For an existing event, click “Update.”

Step 4: Review on your dashboard

Your CalMaestro dashboard will now display the maximum daily booking limit for each event, giving you a quick overview of your availability controls.
